November Updates

I can't believe November is ending already with Christmas just around the corner. I had such big plans and goals this month but of course I didn't keep my word.


I dubbed November 'Stopember', even 'No-November' , I thought I was pretty clever with the second one 


Let me share with you guys the three main goals I had so you get the reason for the names :

How I Keep My Skin Hydrated During The Colder Months

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posts on here. I was going to post about my favorite face masks when suddenly my face started being super dry and peeling. It was only then that I realized that the weather was changing, it was autumn and winter is a-coming.

During this time of year, I forget how the drop in temperature makes my skin dry and flakey, which is something I'm not used to because I have oily skin. I knew my skin needed extra TLC because I could feel how tight it was when I got out of the shower. Another indicator was how the texture of my skin felt rough.

3ina Long Wear Lipstick

Hey guys! Sorry I've been slacking. I've been trying out new products and gathering my thought about them for this blog and for you guys so fret not I have not forgotten about this blog at all. 

I was planning on writing a brand review on 3ina, I went to Covent Garden last month and bought a range of products from them, powder eyeshadow, cream eyeshadow, eyeliner, etc. For this post it's just going to be about their long-wear lipstick, I still plan on writing about the other products that I bought but I want to try them out more before I do. 

Hey guys, so I did not post anything last week and I apologize. I had to take care of something during the weekend and I was so stressed about it that I just couldn't focus on anything.

Before you guys read on, I have to warn you that this post is not makeup related and is more about my life so skip this is post you aren't interested in me ranting.

August Faves

August has passed and it's now September. I've got some exciting things planned this month, one of them is learning how to scuba dive and my first class is next week. It's just a test run before I decide to sign up for it. Another exciting news is Urban Decay's all matte eyeshadow palette that's coming out this month!! And Kat Von D launching her beauty brand at Debenhams in October   September's just begun and I've already spent lots on makeup lol

Urban Decay XX Vice LTD Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette (Swatches + Thoughts)

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be at Urban Decay's store in Covent Garden for the launch of their two new palettes - The Vice XX Reloaded and Moondust palette. When I say 'lucky', I don't mean that I got an exclusive invite (not on that level yet hunny lol). What happened was I was at their store the day before ,saw their sign about it and immediately signed up, thanking my lucky stars that there were still spaces available. 

I've been really fortunate lately to have gone to two events at Urban Decay, just two weeks ago I was there for their 20th Birthday Celebration. The thing is they only publicize events they have coming up in their store and I think it's mainly because their store can't accommodate large numbers of people in it. I don't travel to London that much but I think I might have to make myself go there a few times a month just so I don't miss out on events and soon they are opening a store at Kings Cross Station   

I'll talk about and show pictures of the Moondust palette in a seperate post, but in the mean time let's check out their latest Vice palette ey   

London School of Makeup

Hey guys, so I recently received my certificate (which might I add I was/am sooo happy about!) and I thought I'd share a little bit about why I chose this school and what I thought of it overall. 

IMATS 2016

Hey guys! I know, I have not posted anything on this blog for almost a year now and I find it funny how this post is about IMATS 2016 and my last post was IMATS 2015. I really don't have a good excuse for why I've been absent on here. If I'm going to be completely honest, my heart wasn't in it and I really couldn't force myself BUT things are different now, I'm more motivated to really be more consistent with my blog.
