November Updates

I can't believe November is ending already with Christmas just around the corner. I had such big plans and goals this month but of course I didn't keep my word.


I dubbed November 'Stopember', even 'No-November' , I thought I was pretty clever with the second one 


Let me share with you guys the three main goals I had so you get the reason for the names :

So the first one I failed miserably, gave in like the second week in - you can tell I tried really hard with that one. I'm definitely not consuming meat and dairy products as much as before. It's easy to keep to a plant-based meal for breakfast and lunch because I make my own but dinner is done for me when I get back home and I don't like creating too much fuss so I just eat whatever they have made.




I have managed to stick to the no buying goal but omg, the times that I have gone on Monki or Topshop and got so close to buying something. I think because I knew I had to save money for Christmas presents, this goal was easier to accomplish. Speaking of Christmas, who's already done their Christmas shopping?? I'd say I'm pretty much done with mine, there're maybe two people that I haven't shopped for yet but I already know what I'm getting them and it can be bought online so I'm not stressed about it.




Anyway, sorry for the lack of posts guys. I've been attending classes at the London School of Makeup since the second week of November and that's been keeping me busy. I have to travel to Oxford Circus five days a week from 10-5 and if you live in London you know how busy the underground is in the evening. By the time I get back home I just want to lie down and do nothing but I can't because I have to wash my makeup brushes, prep my lunch for tomorrow and walk the dogs.


But the course has been great! I have about 2 more weeks to go, which sucks because I don't want it to end sorta. We've had a different makeup artist come in everyday to teach us what they know and give us advice and tips. I've learned so much and will continue to learn. I won't lie, there are days when I feel like I don't know what I'm doing, like the day we did eyebrow blocking, but I remind myself that I'm here to learn and that it's not so serious, it's just makeup 



I will try harder to publish a post every week, I have swatches and reviews/thoughts I plan on doing but I don't know when those will be up because until this course ends I only have weekends free and during that time I just want to be bare faced because my face goes through a lot already during the week. I will try to have my November Faves up sometime this week, fingers crossed! I need to because I know I haven't posted much makeup related things here lately but you guys can check out my instagram where I post pictures of the makeup I've done on the course and also I just posted pictures from the two photoshoots I've done, my handle is @mizzmmj :)
