What I Packed for Melaka (Raya)

I thought my first post should be up and posted once Raya was here and well, it's here! Hehe. i had planned to post this while I was in Melaka but while I was there I had no time during the day because we were so busy visiting people and when night came I was just too tired. I only managed to upload the pictures to my laptop and to the blog and then I was off to dreamland.

Bobbi Brown's Tinted Moisturizer spf 15, mascara , Lancome's La Base , Sunplay spf 65, Collection Cosmetics Concealer, Urban Decay's Primer Potion, Sleek's Eyerbrow Kit, Elizabeth Arden Eyeliner Pencil, Rimmel's Scandal Eyes, Heavy Rotation Liquid Eyeliner and Too Faced 'A Few Of My Favourite Things' palette. 

Whenever I go to Melaka I don't pack a ton of makeup because the weather there is just too hot to be putting on tons of products on my skin. I usually wear/bring something light, like a tinted moisturizer or bb cream, not foundation because it is too heavy. This Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer had spf 15 which is good, and I brought the Sunplay sunscreen along too in case I was lazy to put on makeup. I have oily lids so primer is a must especially since I was going to be out the whole day.

I love Rimmel's Scandal Eyes liquid eyeliner , the brush is good for creating a winged eyeliner but after a few strokes no product comes out..? I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing it. I thought maybe I got a faulty product but I went and bought another one and the same thing happens. What I do is when I feel like no product is coming out, I use the Heavy Rotation liquid eyeliner - the problem with this eyeliner is that too much product comes out - and then the scandal eyes liner to even it out and create a winged liner. This Too Faced palette has great pigmented eyshadows as well as 2 blushers and bronzers so I packed it in my bag.

All the products in the picture above are almost always in my touch-up pouch that I carry in my handbag. I carry all three of the Revlon colorburst matte balm with me because I like to mix them with my lipsticks sometimes. They are also great for days when I don't feel like wearing lipstick because they are so light.

These Nanshy brushes are top notch! The brushes are so dense and just by feeling them I just know that they are high quality brushes. Love them so much.

Skincare is important for me because I have problem skin and unlike my makeup where I can opt to leave one product out, I can't do the same with my skincare products. Almost all of my skincare products are from Skinbeau. I have two different cleansers, one for the morning and one for night. The bottle with the pink cap is a Skinbeau Bio Bubble cleanser, and the one beside it, the Finamo, is the cleanser that I use in the morning, as recommended by my beautician. The Biomed Condition Solution is a toner that I use right after cleansing followed by the Biomed Booster. My beautician told me to use another product as my toner during the day and to use the Biomed Condition Solution at night but for this trip I forgot to bring it so I just used this instead. I use the Intensive Eye Cream lastly and only during the day.

I forgot to include my Make Up For Ever loose powder in the first picture so here it is with my Marc Jacobs Daisy travel size perfume.



Well, that's what I packed for Melaka! I can't believe that was a week ago, time sure flies.
