Inglot Gel Eyeliners + Thoughts on the SA at the Sunway Pyramid outlet

When I bought my first Inglot gel eyeliner, I really loved it. It was very pigmented and the texture was very smooth. Then after some time, the eyeliner dried up. I used my hair dryer to get it to soften and while this does sort of solve the problem, it does take time to heat up the product. It is so frustrating to me because I can't help but think that in the time that I used to heat it up, I would've already be done drawing one eye if the product didn't dry up or if I used a different eyeliner all together.

Despite this, I went to the outlet in Sunway Pyramid last week and bought a gel eyeliner in a light blue. I actually went in with the intention on getting the freedom palette but the SA was practically
breathing down my neck the whole entire time I was swatching the eyeshadows. She didn't even ask me questions like what colour I was looking for or tell me what colour would be nice to have. She just stood right beside me and didn't say anything. No personal space whatsoever. I just feel like, if you're not going to help me pick eyeshadows (which is your JOB) then take a few steps back and give me some space to swatch the eyeshadows and decide for myself what colours I would want. So annoying.

This incident brought back a memory when I went in and was looking for a purple lipstick and the SA (different one, male) said something like 'Purple lipsticks only look good on really pale skin'. I thought SA's are supposed to encourage you to buy their products? He was probably trying to be helpful by giving me that advice but there are sooo many shades of purple, he could've suggested a shade that would compliment my skin tone but instead he totally deterred me from purchasing ANYTHING. And I'm not the only one who has felt like the SA's at Inglot are lacking in the customer service department. My friend also had a few unpleasant experiences with the SA's which is unfortunate because incidents like these can discourage people from coming in their shop in the future. I've only ever been to the outlet in Sunway Pyramid, so I can't talk about their other outlets. I hope it's just this outlet that has bad SA's.

Anyway, on to pictures of the eyeliners and some swatches! Also, when I bought the eyeliner, the SA told me to store it upside down and to use this liquid thing on the gel eyeliner when it dries up.

#88
#83 . This gel eyeliner I bought like a bout two years or so ago and it dried up and cracked. It looks wet because I had used the duraline solution on it.

So the SA told me to use this solution for the dry eyeliner and to store the gel eyeliners upside down.

I bought the duraline solution together with the #83 gel eyeliner. The SA at the time told me that I could use the solution to turn eyeshadows into eyeliners but I was only recently informed that it could be used for the dry gel eyeliner. It might seem like a waste to buy a gel eyeliner knowing that it will dry up eventually but Inglot's gel eyeliners are soo smooth and they have a colorful range to choose from. The gely eyeliners are rm55 each. I can't remember how much the duraline solution is though because it was purchased so long ago.
